Back To School Essentials

Now that summer is coming to a close, school is just around the corner (cries). Class, homework, exams, and projects are just a few of the responsibilities that inevitably lie ahead. I’m crying just thinking about it and I’m sure you are too. But, lucky for us, there are a few things that can ease the process of going back to school and they can all fit right inside your school bag. Here are my top 5 back to school essentials.

Back to School Essentials

1. A weekly planner.

Do you ever find yourself struggling to keep track of your school work? Me too. Which is why I always keep my weekly planner in my school bag. I find weekly planners are great for keeping track of everything going on which makes organization super easy. If you haven’t already picked one up for the school year, I strongly recommend the Happy Planner by Create 365. I love these specific planners because they can be personalized to fit your needs and style.

2. Fruit infused water bottle.

If you’re like me, you walk A LOT during the school year. With all of that walking, it is important to remember to stay hydrated. That’s why I make sure to grab my fruit infused water bottle before I head to class. This one I got from Infusion H2O has been one of my favorites for a while now. So, it’s no surprise that it made it into my back to school essentials. What I love about this bottle is how it makes my water taste. Now, I’m not a huge fan of the taste of water. It’s just too bland for my liking and I find it hard to drink enough water throughout the day. Especially when I’m walking more than usual. However, this bottle solves that problem by making my water taste great all day.

3. A small makeup bag.

I can’t tell you how many times I have gone to class and realized that I could probably use some sprucing up. Which is why I like to keep a small makeup bag filled with some of my beauty must-have’s in my backpack. I find this very useful on days when I don’t have time to get fully ready in the morning or just want to put my best foot forward. You don’t need anything super fancy just something to keep the smaller bits and pieces that you may want to reapply throughout the day.

4. Headphones.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I hate it when I forget my headphones at home. Especially when I’m walking to and from class. For that reason, headphones have made it on my list of back to school essentials. Keep an extra pair of headphones in your school bag to make sure you are always ready for your commute to class.

5. Spare chargers.

It’s always the worst feeling when you get to class and realize that your phone or laptop is dead. I mean, how are you going to scroll through your favorite socials, I mean take notes, when your computer is dead? That’s why I never head to class without my spare phone and computer chargers, just in case. Now I never have to worry about “taking notes” again.
